Microfiction Monday # 24
Welcome to Microfiction Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters.
Susan over at Stonyriver hosts Microfiction Monday
Here is this weeks picture and my story to go with it.
Brother Timothy,
I realize we are technically only "bookmonks",
but for the love of God,
display some sort of decorum and sit up.
The rules are simple,to use Susan's picture she posts then compose a story up to 140 characters including spaces and punctuation.
Then hop on over to Susan's and leave your name. She even has a brilliant character counter to help us count.
As Susan promises, it's fast, it's fiction, it's fun!

I go up to Chicago on Tuesday for my Dr appointment and we meet Kay and family for lunch. Wish it could be longer but Jim has to work on Wednesday. I can't wait, it's been over a year.
I'll tell her hello from you!
She is just so sweet and wonderful.
ROFL! Sounds like something I'd say to my kids, I can just hear it!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, good luck at the Doc's on Tuesday - I hope all goes *very* well, and a big hug to Kay (and to you too) from me!
Sounds as if Brother Timothy may be showing a bit more than what he knows.

This reminds me of my mother reprimanding me in church when I was a kid. :)
ReplyDeleteHe probably fell asleep waiting for your neo-globe to load so he could read your post. It freezes my computer every time and I have to use the Task Manager to get it to work again.
ReplyDeleteI love the lack of decorum.
Didn't Emily Post write a monk etiquette book? Brother Tim should read it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smile.
