Welcome to Microfiction Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters.

Susan over at stonyriver hosts Microfiction Monday. I still can't believe that I can write something on my blog in under 140 words.

The rules are simple,to use Susan's picture she posts then compose a story up to 140 characters including spaces and punctuation.
Then hop on over to Susan's and leave your name. She even has a brilliant gadget to help us count.
Design 215's character counter

As Susan promises, it's fast, it's fiction, it's fun.

Here's this week's picture, and my story to go with it:

"Mommy peas be quiet!"
Rosie whispered.

"I gave my fishes a bath cause they smelled funny,
and now they're taking a nap."

  13. Susan;

    ...all mothers know just how those moments feel! The faces of our children are so truthful and we are the ones trying not to laugh and also trying not to cry!
    Thanks Susan, I love the pink skirt and the pink socks on Rosie!

  18. A sensitive Mommy moment. Maybe Mom can have hubby pick up a brother or sister fish on his way home from work and slip it in while Rosie is taking her bath!
    As you can see, I've been in a similar situation!
