Welcome to Microfiction Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters.
Susan over at Stonyriver hosts Microfiction Monday.
The rules are simple,to use Susan's picture she posts then compose a story up to 140 characters including spaces and punctuation.
Then hop on over to Susan's and leave your name. She even has a brilliant gadget to help us count and that would be a character counter
As Susan promises, it's fast, it's fiction, it's fun.
"When I agreed to model for the Vegetable Lovers of America,
I had no idea I would have to
wear a shiitake on my head!" Heidi sighed
How funny! I hadn't noticed that!
ReplyDeleteThanks MamaZen;
ReplyDeleteI love to read all the first impressions of the same photo.

That's so clever and funny!
ReplyDeleteblueviolet;
ReplyDeleteit's always the first thing that comes to my mind! Sometimes good, sometimes maybe not. But always fun! Have a great day!
Great one, Peggy! It is fun, isn't it? Funny what pops into you head when you look at the photo, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteSylvia

ReplyDeleteYou're so right,
I was fixated on her top knot...and her balancing very carefully.
I love the creative part and how we see things. That's fun for me and then reading all the posts that saw something completely different from mine.
Best part this week for me though, was to see your name on the meme,
I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next week!
Quite often I throw in an LOL because it sparked a chuckle. This, on the other hand, had me laughing out loud :D Nice take!
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a very weird sort of hairdo, I must say. The dress would do a nice job of covering my pot belly and fat thighs though.
ReplyDeleteROFL!! When I first saw this picture, I thought, what the HECK is on her head??
ReplyDeleteShe's absolutely perfect for Vegetable Lovers of America: is her dress supposed to be a sun-dried tomato or a red hot chili pepper, do you think?
LOL
Kay;
ReplyDeleteIt is a weird sort of hairdo,reminded me of a mushroom!
Dress is different too!
ae a good week Kay!
Bill;

ReplyDeleteToo, too funny! Laughing is a good way to start the work week after being on vacation. Thanks!
Are you sure it's shiitake? Maybe Noah's Ark!
ReplyDeleteWell done -- I hadn't really thought about the shape of it until I read yours!
S.L.M
ReplyDeleteIt could be a Noah's Ark, or a Judas'or Pig ear? I saw the shape right away and that's all I could think about.
I think this is the most fun meme that I do! I just love reading all the other posts!

It kind of looks like i thought the same as everybody else but I never looked at anybodys takes until I posted mine. The cup of java idea came from a coffee cup my sister use to use fat and round on the bottom and narrower on top. But now I see yours and it does represent an upside down mushroom you did a great job Peggy of course you always do.
