Elections are a good deal like marriages. There's no accounting for anyone's taste. Every time we see a bridegroom we wonder why she ever picked him, and it's the same with public officials..
I love that Will Rogers quote, so true, so true. I voted early last week by absentee ballot. I am really liking voting by mail. I can really think more clearly when I'm not rushed.

I did!!!!! I voted, for the first time in my life, a straight Democratic ticket. It felt weird but any party that gives credence to the teabaggers and Sarah Palin does not deserve my vote. I was raised to look at the candidate not the party but this year that wasn't possible.
I learned a long time ago to never discuss politics or religion. I've also learned that you often don't even need to discuss politics or religion, because people can tell your beliefs by the way you live your life. I voted!
Sometimes I wish Will Rogers was still around...think of all the new sayings he could come up with today! :)
