So What Do You Think About Last Night?

Now that the midterms are over (thank you God), I sit here at my computer and feel kind of numb.
I'm not sure how I feel, of course my sugar coma still hasn't completely worn off from Halloween.!
That would explain the coma.
When  it does wear off  ( hopefully soon ) I  know that in my core, l  believe that we are a center right country, and when we go to far in any one direction,  the people will pull us back with their vote .

So ss I am digesting the last 24/48 hours, I want to know what you think .
Are you excited and hopeful , maybe a bit sad and fearful,
sugar numb like me, or none of the above.

  1. I am upset and disgusted. And I wrote about it on my blog. I am now empty. I truly fear for our country.

  3. I think it all balances out eventually. i have to laugh at how quick the new president who is going to reverse everything finds himself in the same place as the old president criticized...

  4. Sigh.

    That sums it up. I've contemplated a letter to two of my national reps that begins, "Congratulations on your most recent victory. I didn't vote for you but since you haven't been listening to me for the past few years, I guess you didn't notice." :)

  6. I was going to write about the election, but just couldn't get myself off the floor to do it. Even my mother, who doesn't understand American politics a whole lot said, "Why do Americans blame Obama and decide to go with Republicans when it was the Republicans who got America to where they are now after 8 years? Did they really expect Obama to fix everything in 2 years? He's tried to do everything he promised."

    I agree of course. I'm just so disgusted.

    On the other hand, Hawaii went almost all Democrat this time. You can just never tell.

  7. Kay;

    I cna't believe that a Rep. won Obama's old seat.
    I thought the Dem was a crook to be honest. But that's who usually wins here in Illinois!
    I do think that everything works out in the end. So we'll see what happens in 2 more years!
    Aloha!
