Welcome to Microfiction Monday.

Susan over stonyriver /hosts Microfiction Monday The rules are simple,to use Susan's picture she posts then compose a story up to 140 characters including spaces and punctuation.
So here is this weeks picture and my story to go with.
I took a romantic look at the picture this week.
I was so tempted to make it funny, but my husband liked it this way.
So I'll make him my muse and dedicate this to him.
Happy Valentine's Day to my sweet man,
and thank you for my beautiful flowers.
Have a wonderful Valentine's Day everyone!
Valentine's Day and Romance in bloom!
Lovers embracing, the heavens above shining their approval.
My dream arms wrapped around you!
Now Leap on over to Susan's place and leave your name.
She even has a brilliant counter to help us count. As Susan promises, it's fast, it's fiction, it's fun!
I love it! As I always do yours! I think your husband was right - nothing wrong with a little romance on a cold February weekend!! Have a great week, Peggy!

ReplyDeleteYour husband has a romantic soul. That is soooooo nice, especially on Valentines Day.
ReplyDeleteMy buddy, Cliff, was not either romantic or nice. He said, 'Amanda gently poked Carl in the chest, leaned forward and whispered, "If you try that again, you're a dead man."'
..
Love the "dream arms" idea. Very wistful.
