MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful. ~Norman Vincent Peale

I know many of you have already seen this video taped just this year.
Being a closet superstar entertainer, I would have loved just being in the room!

My family will soon be gathering together for the Holidays.  My oldest son, Robert who lives in DC has been here all week and we have had the best time . My daughter Julie and her dog Jameson arrive tonight to join her other brother Kevin and her doting parents, to make this a very Merry Christmas !
I count my blessings everyday and spending time with my family is a gift!
I pray that everyone here in my bloggy world have a  a very Merry Christmas!.

May you be blessed
With the spirit of the season,
which is peace,
The gladness of the season,
which is hope,
And the heart of the season,
which is love...

and one more for luck.

Irish Blessing

May God grant you many years to live,
For sure He must be knowing
The earth has angels all too few
And heaven is overflowing.

Holidays

I have been taking a few days away from blogging trying to finish up my holiday shopping, wrapping, baking and other holiday traditions. My oldest son Robert is coming in next week and will be staying for eight days. The longest that I have had him all to myself in years! I might share him with the rest of the family, tis the season after all!
I'll be checking in and out, just to keep me up on all of my bloggy friends. Hope you are enjoying all the holiday traditions that mean so much to you too!

Found this cartoon and Dave Berry quote, hope it brings a smile to your day!

"Once again we find ourselves enmeshed in the Holiday Season, that very special time of year when we join with our loved ones in sharing centuries-old traditions such as trying to find a parking space at the mall. We traditionally do this in my family by driving around the parking lot until we see a shopper emerge from the mall, then we follow her, in very much the same spirit as the Three Wise Men, who 2,000 years ago followed a star, week after week, until it led them to a parking space."
