My Gratitude List..

After our Thanksgiving meal, when everyone was asleep..oh I mean, while everyone else was watching movies, I made a list of what I am thankful for today, this minute!
Being grateful helps me see my life in a whole new light.

My husband Jim
My two great sons and my beautiful daughter.
My Mother
My wonderful friends.
Waking up most mornings with a smile on my face.
My cats that will never tell the things they've seen me do!
Leftover Turkey
A roof over our heads.
Fresh fruit smoothies
My country
The U.S. military.
Good pizza
Bravo's restaurant.
My doctors
I never got a tattoo
I'm past trying to impress people
Snow eventually melts
Homemade soup
Music of all kinds
Ocean views
Pines forests
Memories
Flowers
Lab puppies
My laptop and blogging,

...and all of you!

  3. Susan;

    If I had gotten a tatoo it would look like a blurred mess...picture Angelina Jolie's back where she had a Billy Bob one removed!

    Lin;

    Yep, two of my constant ones from my list! Thanks Lin!

  5. And it's good to always find you here! [Which I mentioned in my Things to be grateful for post].

    Have a great weekend! Would you believe the Bro had a HAM and the Mom-in-law who always tries to give us leftovers didn't? So I am actually baking a turkey tomorrow. Why? Because I LOVE cold turkey sandwiches! :)

  8. I'm grateful for you, Peg. You were the one who eased me into Mainland life in one fell swoop. To this day I remember that first phone call with you. It got dark all around me and I was still talking to you without turning on the lights. I was so grateful to have a new friend who I could talk to so easily. It all felt right. I knew you were going to be a special best friend. I can't even explain it. Love you, Peg.

    Awe Kay, you made me cry! A very very good cry! Everything you wrote here is exactly how I feel.
    You were(are) my friend that I always could count on and was always there with and for me! Still are, aren't you!
