My Mother's Place
"HOW WONDERFUL IT IS THAT NOBODY NEED WAIT A SINGLE MOMENT BEFORE STARTING TO IMPROVE THE WORLD"
Anne Frank
My husband and I went to visit my Mom last week in Dayton Ohio and saw so many beautiful trees and flowering bushes already in bloom. When we left Illinois every tree was in the early budding phase but nothing had actually bloomed yet.
These flowering crab trees are at the entrance of my Mom's condo complex and they are just so beautiful every year.
Be sure to click on the photo , it just gets better!

Doesn't Spring just produce beautiful landscapes! Hope that your visit went well.
ReplyDeleteblossoms announce so much and promise even more...
ReplyDeleteThat's how dogwoods look here at Easter. I call it "Southern Snow".
ReplyDeletePretty picture!
Thanks Laoch, I really liked the quote. Anne Frank was so young and be that wise!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Perfect time for a visit to see your mom. Great quote! Anne Frank is a heroine of mine. I played her in my college years. What wisdom she had... far beyond her years. I suppose that's what hardship and experience can bring to a soul.

Great photo. I love this stage of spring when the buds are opening.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful, but the dark twisty branches half-hidden in them make the trees just wonderful! Thank you for that photo, and I hope you had a wonderful trip and visit.

ReplyDeleteMy two sons went to Ohio State and my oldest who lives in DC still goes to at least one game a year. So we root for the home team!
Susan.
ReplyDeleteI know that you love old trees and their characteristic woody branches and these 8 to 10 old trees are full of twisty branches. So glad you liked them .
Chriss;
ReplyDeleteI was anxious to go to Dayton and see spring unfolding...then when we got back to Illinois, it was happening here....so what a treat for me!
Perfect for May Day!
ReplyDeleteLoved the trees perfect for the first of May. We are passed the blooming stage here (probably in more ways than one). If I go up into the hills a bit there are still some beautiful dogwoods blooming.
