Microfiction Monday #4
Welcome to Microfiction Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters.
Susan over at stonyriver hosts Microfiction Monday. I still can't believe that I can write something on my blog in under 140 words.
The rules are simple,to use Susan's picture she posts then compose a story up to 140 characters including spaces and punctuation.
Then hop on over to Susan's and leave your name. She even has a brilliant gadget to help us count.
Design 215's character counter
As Susan promises, it's fast, it's fiction, it's fun.
Here's this week's picture, and my story to go with it:
"Fly like the wind Dandy Dancer," squealed Amir
"We have to get up North before Santa runs out of
the Zhu Zhu Pets Deluxe Playset!"

You are so right about how everyone is so different with their stories...that's part of the magic I think :)
ReplyDeleteAhh...the zhu zhu...if I could find one, I'd e-bay it!
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor got her husband a chia-Obama bust before they pulled them from the shelves. I think he'll laugh and then ebay...
Thanks for the holiday perspective on this! We need to get a grip!
LOL!! That's scarily realistic! Absolutely wonderfully Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have Zhu Zhu pets over here, I'm feeling very grateful...the horse looks worried however!
Wait, I've got Zhu Zhu Pets Deluxe Playset on my list, too. The race is on!
ReplyDeleteLOL! He does look like a shopper with a mission!!
ReplyDeleteLarry;
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! I will check out your Monkey Man's Sunday.
Thinking of you today and wishing you well!
Thom;
That is the majic for sure. Good thing that we all do see the picture a little differently,if we didn't I'd be a bit worried that imagination was gone for good! Just look at your blog, a perfect example of imagination! Have a good week Thom!
Mom;
ReplyDeleteA Chia Obama, had not heard or seen one of those. That would do very well on E-Bay! I did almost buy a Zhu Zhu early on but I didn't have anyone to give it too!
Darn, I coululd have E-Bayed it!!!
Have a great week!
too funny...interesting photo-he seems to symbolize the frenzy of christmas sometimes...
ReplyDeleteLIn;
ReplyDeleteHe does, he has that wild look of Freesy in his eyes!
Have a good day!
That's funny! I can see him now, striding into the store.
ReplyDeleteThanks Granny Sue;
ReplyDeleteThe frenzy of the holidays season, I think!
Thanks for stopping by .
Like the Christmas THeme, Well done
ReplyDeleteThat's one way to get through the crowds of holiday shoppers!
ReplyDeleteAnd it's the first time I've realized how panicked the horse looked. I get that same expression of someone suggests I shop on Black Friday. :)
You're good at this! I look forward to next week.
Hope;
ReplyDeleteAwe thank you for your encouragment! I really enjoy doing it. Who knew! I used to write a long time ago(very long time ago!)
But my mind seems to be full of mush most days! So this is good for me to stretch it once in a while! Cause of you, my friend!
Thanks Bill, my rider is really a frenzied shopper! I've seen a lot of them lately so I know the look! Have a good week Bill and thanks for your comment.
ReplyDeleteYour story made me laugh out loud. To tell the truth, I don't know why I laughed. I think this fella just ran over me outside Costco.
ReplyDeletequilly;
ReplyDeleteThis fella gets around. I think I saw him at the mall yesterday, parking his horse in a parking space that I wanted!
This is fun and I get to meet such wonderful new bloggers!
Thanks quilly!
Terrific story, Peg! Am I the only person in the world who doesn't know what a Zhu Zhu pet is?
ReplyDeleteKay;
ReplyDeleteI'm sure not, but over here on the mainland it was very hot! It's a motorized hampster, not sure why it was a coveted toy but it was. Can't find any right now! Not quite as big as the Gabage patch doll was!
I think it's too old a toy for KC, that's why you don't know about it yet. There was also a warning about it's parts being bad and coming from China. Then it was proved untrue!Now why do I know so much about this toy?
Thanks for stopping by pal! :)
I do like checking out your little stories! Goodness, stay out of the way of this fella! He is a man on a mission!
ReplyDeleteP.S. And I do enjoy the little snowflakes!
ReplyDeleteCheryl
ReplyDeleteThank you, how sweet of you.
I have become addicted it seems. Fiirst I was only going to do one, (in my mind) andach week I keep doing one! I've seen this fella aiting at the checkout.
PS The snowflakes fall lik their a little tipsy but I loike them!
Have a great weekend Cheryl!
