Microfiction Monday #4

Welcome to Microfiction Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters.

Susan over at stonyriver hosts Microfiction Monday. I still can't believe that I can write something on my blog in under 140 words.

The rules are simple,to use Susan's picture she posts then compose a story up to 140 characters including spaces and punctuation.
Then hop on over to Susan's and leave your name. She even has a brilliant gadget to help us count.
Design 215's character counter

As Susan promises, it's fast, it's fiction, it's fun.

Here's this week's picture, and my story to go with it:

"Fly like the wind Dandy Dancer," squealed Amir
"We have to get up North before Santa runs out of
the Zhu Zhu Pets Deluxe Playset!"

  5. Ahh...the zhu zhu...if I could find one, I'd e-bay it!

    My neighbor got her husband a chia-Obama bust before they pulled them from the shelves. I think he'll laugh and then ebay...

    Thanks for the holiday perspective on this! We need to get a grip!

  15. That's one way to get through the crowds of holiday shoppers!

    And it's the first time I've realized how panicked the horse looked. I get that same expression of someone suggests I shop on Black Friday. :)

    You're good at this! I look forward to next week.

  18. Your story made me laugh out loud. To tell the truth, I don't know why I laughed. I think this fella just ran over me outside Costco.

  19. quilly;

    This fella gets around. I think I saw him at the mall yesterday, parking his horse in a parking space that I wanted!
    This is fun and I get to meet such wonderful new bloggers!

  20. Terrific story, Peg! Am I the only person in the world who doesn't know what a Zhu Zhu pet is?

  21. Kay;

    I'm sure not, but over here on the mainland it was very hot! It's a motorized hampster, not sure why it was a coveted toy but it was. Can't find any right now! Not quite as big as the Gabage patch doll was!
    I think it's too old a toy for KC, that's why you don't know about it yet. There was also a warning about it's parts being bad and coming from China. Then it was proved untrue!Now why do I know so much about this toy?
    Thanks for stopping by pal! :)
